ERI YAMAMOTO AND YVES LÉVEILLÉ
Pianos ( FND 100 )

We have the impression at times to listen to one pianist with four hands and an endless inspiration. Great art.

Stanley Pean ( Journal Voir ) July 27, 2010

Released in May 2010 at Effendi Records , Pianos (FND 100) was officially launched at the Yamaha's home in New York (Manhattan) October 25, 2010. This concert was sponsered by Yamaha in collaboration with the Quebec Delegation in New York and the Quebec Council of Arts. Both pianists have collaborated on various projects in New York as well in Quebec. Recorded in 2009 at the Studios of UQAM by Tim Hewlings this disc reflects the natural complicity between Eri Yamamoto resident of New York and the Montreal pianist Yves Léveillé. Creativity, spontaneity and refinement, the language of the two musicians joined us straight to the heart.
